Safety & security

Safety is how we operate

Rigorous HSE systems, emergency readiness and round-the-clock security across the port.

HSE

Our HSE commitment

Our Health, Safety & Environment department works with every employee, contractor and port user to ensure that:

  1. 01

HSE systems and procedures are applied and continually improved

  2. 02

Safety is a core responsibility of every manager and supervisor

  3. 03

Employees have the right working environment, equipment and training

  4. 04

Everyone can identify hazards and the controls they require

  5. 05

A safety culture that inspires awareness and personal responsibility

Emergency readiness

Ready for high-risk cargo

We handle highly flammable liquids such as gasoline, naphtha, diesel and fuel oil; bulk cargo such as palm kernel shell and iron ore; heavy oil and gas equipment; and food-grade products. Each carries its own risks — fire, explosion, health hazards and pollution — so we stay ready to respond at any time.

TLP is an active member of the Pasir Gudang Emergency Mutual Aid (PAGEMA), established in 1988 to unite government agencies and high-risk industries in emergency management across Pasir Gudang and Tanjung Langsat. We hosted PAGEMA exercises in 2012 and 2016, join members' annual drills, and run joint drills with port tenants to build shared confidence and preparedness.
