Development story
From first jetty to integrated hub
Port development began in early 2002, with the first L-shaped liquid jetty in operation by 2003. A second wing added five berths for a total of seven liquid berths serving vessels from 5,000 to 120,000 DWT. The Bulk & Break-Bulk Jetty, built from 2008, opened in mid-2011 with two 11.0 m berths able to handle heavy-lift and oversized cargo vessels up to 50,000 tonnes displacement. A Regional Marine Supply Base and a Warehouse & Logistics Hub complete the offer for contractors and service providers.
